Show homenaje a Joey Ramone en EEUU

Ramones Tribute Night Announced
Joey Ramone would have turned 59 this May had he not sadly passed away on 15 April 2001. In commemoration and celebration of one of the best bands in rock n roll history Cheese on Toast in association with Whammy Bar are hosting a Ramones Tribute Night! 7 local favorites will perform short sets comprising of two originals and two Ramones songs – and as tradition has become at the legendary Whammy Tribute Nights – the drinking public get to vote for their favorite act on the night – with every drink you purchase you get a vote (that’s how democracy should work).

I Wanna Be In The Ramones will be on Friday 21 May at Whammy – it’s free entry! Acts to be announced shortly. (If you’re in a band reading this and still haven’t applied to play drop Andrew an eMail – there’s still a couple of slots to be filled.)
